how Yumfolio handles your data

your book
recipes, photos, folders and shopping items are stored on your device. when iCloud is available, they sync with the private storage of your Apple Account. the developer cannot access your book’s contents in iCloud.
photos
Yumfolio receives only the photos you choose through the system photo picker. it does not use the camera.
saving and deleting
syncing runs while the app is open and requires an internet connection and available iCloud storage. a new device using the same Apple Account can restore only data that reached iCloud. deleting the app does not delete the cloud copy. deleting individual entries inside the app syncs those deletions to your other devices.
advertising and analytics
the app has no advertising, analytics or tracking. your book’s contents are not sold or sent to the developer.
support messages
when you email us, we receive your email address and message so we can respond and help with your question. please do not send passwords or information that is not needed for support. you can use the same address for questions about your data or to request deletion of support correspondence.
external services
iCloud operates under Apple’s policies. websites and apps opened through recipe links have their own privacy policies. this website is hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub may process technical visitor data under its privacy statement. our pages have no third-party analytics or data collection forms.
